Extrication Needed

Extrication was needed for this fairly new Kia that was involved in a 2 car accident on Baldwin Rd. The accident happened early afternoon. After the collision, the driver was trapped inside the vehicle and required to be cut out. Southside Hook & Ladder 2 was first on scene. They immediately saw what was needed and went to work. The driver of the vehicle was removed within in minutes and transported via county ambulance to the hospital. It appears that the driver suffered minor injuries. The driver of the other vehicle that was involved was looked at by medical personnel on scene and then released.
